TFS Microtome

Brief description:

An electronic motorized rotation microtome to cut paraffin sections (> 3 micron). The Cool Cut consists of an electrically cooled object clamp that constantly holds a temperature 20 K below room temperature. The Section-Transfer-System allows direct transfer of sections from the blade to the heated waterbath by a continuous laminar flow of water without manual manipulation.
